Mary Margaret is a Fashion Expert and TV Personality with twenty-five years of experience in the New York City fashion industry.
Mary Margaret knew that she was born into the fashion world when her grandmother, a seamstress in New York City’s historic Garment District, made her choose from leftover scraps of the highest quality fabrics to repurpose into little dresses, pants, and even faux fur coats. Mary was the only kid on her Queens, NY block with actual couture, designed and sewn by Angelina Valentino, her hero.
Mary Margaret has worked with some of the most talented and noteworthy fashion creatives for over twenty-five years, in editorial, showroom design + sales, and marketing environments. She is now fully immersed in the NYC and Philadelphia fashion and art community, a frequent VIP at events celebrating emerging designers and fashion entrepreneurs.
Mary Margaret has become a sought-after Fashion Expert with appearances on MAX, FX, HULU, JTV, NBC, CBS, Style Network, and features in Scholastic Parent Magazine, First for Women Magazine, and BELLA Magazine. She was most recently tapped to represent NYC Fashion in the "The NYC Field Guide: How to Thrive in the Five,” which was created by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment.
Mary jokes that her personal style can best be described as “NYC mom chic,” which is a collaboration of her three favorite passions; the beautiful chaos of motherhood, NYC lifestyle, and of course, the wonderful world of fashion. She believes that any look can be transformed and personalized with some great investment pieces and family heirlooms.
Mary is the proud mother of two children, Giovanni and Jacqueline. Together, they live in TriBeCa, NYC, and make frequent trips to Woodstock, New York, and Vermont for hiking and campfire s’mores! While in NYC, Mary loves attending the theatre, museums, galleries, fashion shows, antiquing, and learning more about New York City history.
